Unmasking in relationships: safety, shame, and being seen
Unmasking ADHD in relationships is scary, but it can also be healing, especially when safety and self-understanding come first.
Ed is a certified life, sex and relationship coach with a focus on neurodivergent support. He’s an AuDHD'er himself and uses that lived experience to help clients unmask, understand their needs and build more confident, connected relationships.
Ed holds a Level 5 Professional Coaching certification from BPP and has completed specialist training in neuro-affirmative practice, ADHD coaching and mental health first aid. He previously worked as a safeguarding specialist and accessibility trainer at The Open University, where he supported students navigating crisis, disability and systemic barriers in higher education.
As a coach, Ed has partnered with organizations like Tiimo and ADHD Works, and he is the founder of Big Spoon Community, an inclusive space offering group accountability sessions and body doubling support for neurodivergent adults. His approach combines practical tools with a deep commitment to inclusion, self-worth and emotional safety.
