Tiffany Hammond

she/her

A Black woman with long, wavy burgundy hair stands next to her son, a young Black man wearing a graphic t-shirt. She is the primary subject of the photo and is looking at the camera in a well-lit indoor setting.

Tiffany is an Autistic writer, speaker, and storyteller who uses personal narrative to challenge dominant narratives around Autism and disability. She is the voice behind Fidgets and Fries, where she shares honest reflections on parenting, identity, intersectionality, and systemic change.

As a Black Autistic woman and mother to two Autistic teens, Tiffany brings a deeply personal and intersectional lens to her advocacy. Her work centers on disrupting ableist systems, expanding the conversation around Autism, and reclaiming space for joy, nuance, and lived experience.

Tiffany holds a Master’s in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University and has been featured in outlets like Yahoo! Life, Love What Matters, and on panels with the NJ Autism Center of Excellence. When she’s not writing or speaking, you can find her somewhere with pie.
