Rachel Inberg

she/her

A white woman with long brown hair, wearing a black turtleneck. She is standing with her hands on her hips in front of a painted mural showing a city skyline and a river.

Rachel is a writer and psychiatric provider who brings lived experience to her work at the intersection of chronic illness, neurodivergence, and mental health. Her storytelling blends clinical insight with personal narrative, shedding light on topics often shaped by stigma, silence, or misunderstanding.

Rachel writes about ADHD, depression, and the complex realities of embodiment with nuance and dark humor. Her essays and poetry have been featured in The Guardian, HuffPost, The Rumpus, and Tin House, among others. She often explores the messy intersections of diagnosis, medication, and identity; always from a voice that is deeply human, unapologetically honest, and often funny.
